Mandurah 23.05.2012 to 30.05.2012

Mandurah is just south of Perth and quite a large place with a population of over 70,000. It is basically an extension of a Perth suburb. We are keeping our pace slow and steady as we have our Caravan booked in for a service on June 5th, so we haven't moved much over the past few weeks. The caravan park we are staying in is right on Cox Bay so we get to see the water everyday when we wake up and see the vast range of bird wildlife that gathers around this area and of course see some great sunsets and sunrises (yes I was up early enough to capture one).

Sunrise (something Crowey doesn't see)

This part of the world is also renowned for its dolphins and we were not disappointed one beautiful day to see a couple of pods swimming and playing in the bay. There were baby dolphins jumping and frolicking amongst themselves. Now I must say it is quite hard to capture a pic of these playful mammals, but I managed to get a couple of shots that were not just splashes of water or a fin flashing by.  They were quite mesmerizing and Crowey and I spent quite a long time just watching these gorgeous creatures at play. We both really enjoyed Mandurah for the week but now continue our journey to Fremantle.
